Opening in late 2012 Ātaahua rapidly became popular as a local and destination wedding venue.
Situated in the suburb of Pyes Pa, only a short 10 minute drive from the Tauranga city centre you will discover this impressive venue.
The property boasts an array of features. Nestled under stunning established copper beech trees are beautifully landscaped gardens, with croquet and petanque grounds and a bush outlook. With the option of holding your event in either a traditional marquee within a divine walled garden featuring an outdoor fire, water features and clipped topiary or our stylish indoor venue suited to events year round.
The property has been developed with the four seasons in mind… masses of deciduous planting captures beautiful autumnal colour contrasted by evergreen topiary and hedging. The property is dotted with up lit trees and others that sparkle with fairy lights creating a romantic setting in the autumn and winter months when dusk falls earlier.
The roaring outdoor fire also plays a dramatic backdrop for wedding celebrations at this time of year. In spring the grounds burst into life with white blossom on the avenue of Chinese pear trees and denudata magnolias. In the summer the flowerbeds are a divine sight and the canopy of the mature copper beech is refreshing on a hot afternoon.

Mother and Daughter team Bridget Little and Abby Luke have been in business together or over 10 years, firstly operating a florist and today running Ataahua.
With a combined history in architecture, garden design, hospitality and the arts, along with a passion for excellence and stylish things they are a strong duo. Their warm personas and professional approach ensures clients feel completely at ease as it is obvious that the small details all matter and add up to create the big picture.
Both Bridget and Abby pride themselves on being very hands on, from your initial consultation through to on the day care and attention they themselves will be your hosts.
